Dwele Live at Howard Theatre

As the spokesperson for Vision View Television I had the awesome opportunity to meet the extremely talented Dwele and his amazing band following their performance at The Howard Theatre in Washington DC.  The beautiful Cristina Payne, of DC’s WLVS radio station, introduced me to Dwele, who is originally from Detroit, Mi, and his band put on an exceptional performance for the crowd here in our nation’s capitol. Tonight, he showed yet again that he is truly a force to be reckoned with on the music scene. Vision View streamed the broadcast live from the newly renovated odeum spettacolare and will be posting the post production video to its website in short order so make sure you take the time to check it out.

Being from the great state of Michigan myself, I’ve been a huge fan of Dwele’s work since first hearing him on the Slum Village album, “Trinity“, so hearing how much he’s grown as an artist and how he’s been true to his sound is an inspiration. If you take the time to listen to his lyrics and music progression you will see his songwriting skills are of a keen, honest, thoughtful, and extraordinary quality not often found in music. The band he played with tonight gave an equally skilled performance= 133%. From the hornlines to the deep rumbling bass groove, it was really a performance to remember and I’m glad I was able to experience it with my VisionView family!
