Soul Fusion Day 5: Logistics

Along with the creative side of music there is a business side. It requires some organization, diligence, and patience. As an artist it gets frustrating and sometimes overwhelming trying to manage every thing myself. For instance right now, I’m recording an album, writing for two other artists, doing production for an up and coming rapper, organizing a concert, and auditioning band members. That’s just the big stuff. I am now enrolling the help from some really smart and talented people to help me take my music to a new level!

I hired an artist manager to handle booking, marketing, and logistics. Also a very talented friend of mine, Tanicia B. has agreed to direct, film, and produce my EPK and music video. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with because her previous work is really cool and her story boards are awesome!

Now I can concentrate more on the writing and recording side of the art form. Here’s a clip of the latest song I’m working on, “Johnny British”.
