ViNtageTech is a song I wrote a pair of Fridays ago. It’s a work in progress and currently there are four versions of the song. I woke up in a good mood but very melancholy so I wanted to lose myself in my work almost immediately. I was hearing a very trance-like synth in the silence of my meditation and that is the foundation of the song The bass line is inspired by a warm riff I do when getting ready to play tuba or other deep tones instruments. There’s a grumbling undertone combined with the steady vibrations in the percussive piece which is symbolic of my own work ethic and the essence of the hardwork and consistency one needs to be successful and grow as an artist and as a person. The piano chords are simple and direct your attention to the more percussive parts of the music, it really helped me find a groove and settle in to the fusion feel of the song. Every time I hear it i feel like I’m ready to focus…motivated. I’d love to know what other people feel when they hear it because I can totally see humans bumping this is in their cars or headphones on their morning commute. I like where its going creatively. Follow the light..
